ACT-related R Packages

actdata (https://ahcombs.github.io/actdata/index.html) is a data repository package that contains standardized versions of all publicly available Affect Control Theory datasets.

inteRact (https://ekmaloney.github.io/inteRact/) is an R implementation of David Heise’s Java Interact program. This makes it possible to script analysis. It also provides support for running batches of simulations efficiently.

bayesactR (https://ahcombs.github.io/bayesactR/) is an R wrapper for Jesse Hoey’s BayesACT program. Like inteRact, it makes it possible to script analysis, and because it is R based we expect it to be more accessible to sociologists.

These ACT-related R packages were developed by current Duke PhD candidate and Duke alum Aidan Combs (aidan.combs@duke.edu) and Em Maloney (emily.k.maloney@duke.edu).
