About: The dictionary contains affective meanings along Osgood’s Evaluation-Potency-Activity (EPA) dimensions for 774 gendered social identities, 674 behaviors and 830 settings in French and German for a total of 2278 concepts. Mean Evaluation-Potency-Activity ratings for identities are provided separately for masculine and feminine forms. For social identities, ratings were provided by n = 700 French and n = 700 German participants. For behaviors, ratings were provided by a separate sample of n = 800 French and n = 800 German participants. A third sample of n = 800 French and n = 800 German participants provided ratings for settings. Ratings were collected following the procedure established in the tradition of Affect Control Theory.
